Sheppey District Swimming Gala 2005
The swimming gala was held on 30th October at
Cinque Ports Holiday Village Sheerness
The turn out for some groups was low but made up for by
higher numbers from others, a few beavers, Cubs and Scouts swapped groups to
make up numbers and so all could have fun and games in the water
Overall the standard was very high and there were a
number of very close finishes to races as well as the fun ones like the "Egg and
Spoon Race", "Waiter Race" and "Lilo Race" for the non swimmers
All 3 sections had great fun as well as some time at the
end of the races just to play in the water
